We settle in, prepare to finish this phase of the refit, and re-evaluate our plans for the winter. A new crew member joins.

The final push to get Blue Turtle in the water!

We remove all of our through-hulls, begin working on replacements, and repaint the hull.

We tackle more projects on the list, and line up a target splash date to go back in the water!

We re-do the electrical system in its entirety, unexpectedly.

Projects continue, new chainplates are needed, and we learn to hang ten, dude. (Not really.)

We get to work installing the new shaft, replacing the cutless bearing, and putting a new packing gland in place.

We remove the old plates, and begin working on sourcing replacements.

We move Blue Turtle onto the hard, to prepare for a somewhat extensive refit.

I troubleshoot the engine issues, break the wrong bolt, get waylaid by unprofessional yard management, and return to Brunswick.

We set out for St. Mary’s, and have an adventure.
